Hello everybody and welcome to my personal fashion and style blog, La Dolche Vita. On my blog you will find top fashion news from an insider’s perspective. To the best of my knowledge there are no other fashion bloggers in Miami Florida who are or were also professional fashion models. That’s what sets my blog apart from all others. I have been blogging about Miami fashion for eight years. Our previous blog was hacked and all those years of work destroyed.
I started modeling at the ripe old age of eleven and now I train other aspiring young models and I warn them about the con artists that take advantage of their dreams. Fashion of course isn’t my only interest, and my articles reflect that. I am interested in cultural events, including the scandals of Miami (and let me tell you, there is no shortage of them) I also come from a musical family. I discovered my love for singing as an exercise to strengthen my lungs due to asthma. I still have asthma, but I have survived life threatening attacks.
Because of the special breathing techniques that professional vocalists learn. It is my frequent respiratory ailments that has brought me to the Sunshine State and while I have found out that there are plenty of allergens here (specifically my nemesis , mold) the mild climate and salty ocean air has made a difference in my overall health. Needless to say I am a health conscious person and I am always ready to try new ways to stay fit and healthy and that includes organic foods, tea ( I am a tea connoisseur ), meditation and plenty of leisure and social activities to combat the adverse affects of everyday stress and the stress of having a chronic illness.
On my personal style blog, the title of my blog should be enough to tell you that I write with passion about the good life. La Dolce Vita is Italian for the Sweet life and life can only be as sweet as what you make it. I write about the best life has to offer with regard to fashion, beauty products, food, animal fashions for the three most adorable dachshund girls ever in the history of the world for as long as time shall stand. Tropic Style Magazine also writes about luxury living. If we only go around once, why would you settle for anything less than the best?
So, if you are looking for some Cheap Chic ideas, this isn’t the blog for you. There are some really good blogs out there that do show you you how to put together a wardrobe on a Wal-Mart budget. What you will see here is nothing but top quality. Not all featured here will be fabled fashion houses as there are many fabulous up in coming designers and I'm always excited to meet new designers. This is why, if I do not have first- hand experience with a designer or product, I will request samples so that I can vouch for the quality. I cannot recommend what I do not know and these days, you sometimes do not get what you pay for. I have spent a lot of money, only to be handed cheap junk and that doesn’t fly with me.
